A test that results from the attempt to conquer the hardness of the tracks of the Vimioso Transmontano plateaus. It is more than a race, it is a test of the dexterity, speed, calculation and intelligence of the drivers, associated with the resistance and quality of the vehicles.

Competition
Since 2013, the Club has had the pleasure of being linked to Ultra4 Racing, a prestigious North American entity in this area.
History
The Club began with the name N4, with the objective of supporting a team in two recognized competitions. In 2002 the name changes to NorteX4 and, already with that name, it has become one of the main organizers of off-road activities, more specifically Expedition and Competition 4×4 in Portugal, organizing one of the biggest trials in Europe, the King of Portugal.
It was 1999 when N4 was created by a group of people who had a common taste: off-road. This was born to support a team composed by two cars and 4 people, in its participation in the old National Championship of Navigation and Trial 4×4 and in the recognized CUP 180, race that takes place in Morocco since 1996.
Since then, the Nortex4 Club dedicates itself to participate and organize sportive and non-sportive events having always as a common point the off-road. Thus, every year, several expeditions are organized, both national and international, as well as sportive events of international scope.
What do we do?
The Norte x4 Club is an association that provides its members with activities of variable duration in the area of outdoor adventure and 4×4 adventure expeditions. Joining the pleasure of outdoor activities with the pleasure of traveling is one of the goals of the club, as such this type of activities are organized for its members. In this sense the club aims to establish partnerships that allow its members to enjoy events organized with the maximum satisfaction and safety possible.

Competition races
In 2002, already with its current name, a team from the club participates in Rainforest Challenge Malasya and in 2003 wins the Diesel category. These participations allowed, by Sin Limites invitation, to jointly organize the 1st Edition of Rainforest Murça, a connection that was maintained in 2003, 2004 and 2005. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 the Clube NorteX4 goes to Vila de Rei and Ponte de Lima where we organize the Rainforest Portugal. During our existence we had the pleasure of collaborating with some more world renowned events organizations, such as Sin Fronteras and the Crotia Trophy.
From 2013 to the present day, the Club has the pleasure of being linked to Ultra4 Racing, the North American entity responsible for the organization of one of the biggest and toughest Off-Road races in the world, organizing under their license a race considered by many to be one of the best in Europe, the King of Portugal. The race takes place in October in the Municipality of Vimioso and is part of the Ultra4 Europe Championship calendar.
Expedition
Since its creation, and since a great part of the club members are passionate about travelling, every year we organize expeditions to Morocco, in 4×4 vehicles or motorcycles. Sometimes, depending on the will demonstrated by its members, the borders are extended and we already have two expeditions to Guinea, two to Mauritania, one to Dakar and one to Romania. Since this Association is not for profit, all those who show willingness to join are welcome and can enjoy the experience that some elements of the Club have.
Travels
In order to promote the conviviality between its elements, several outings and gatherings are organized throughout the year.
The Club has the pleasure of counting on people from different parts of Portugal and also from abroad, which makes the activities take place in the most varied points of the country, but always with the spirit of friendship that characterizes the Club.
